Welcome to Greece where you will experience two of the most vibrant islands in the Mediterranean. This 8-day journey visits Crete, Greece’s largest island with over 160 miles of beaches and Santorini, one of the most famous islands in the Mediterranean! Enjoy a cooking lesson that will showcase some of the most authentic meze dishes while you take in these remarkable coastlines. In addition to scenic hikes on both islands, you will have a chance to learn about the history in Greece while visiting the archeological site of Knossos.

Arrive Heraklion

Welcome to Greece! Your journey will start in Crete, the largest island in Greece and fifth largest island in the Mediterranean! Upon arrival at Heraklion International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring and finish the first evening enjoying dinner together as you take in the beautiful scenery surrounding you.

Day2

Botanical Walk and Cooking Class

Start your day off with a leisurely breakfast while enjoying the grounds of the property. Later in the morning, we will head out for a two-hour leisurely walk, wandering across the forests and fields of Enagron through a majestic network of botanical paths. En route, you can see, touch, smell and even taste all the different species of the wild vegetation that surrounds Enagron as well as the flowers, fruits, and aromatic plants of the farm. Understand how this vegetation has been linked with myth, worship, and pharmaceuticals from ancient times until today. 

At the end of the walk, drink a traditional herbal tea with homemade biscuits and get acquainted with olive oil tasting as you partake in local and authentic cooking lesson. Learn about the local ingredients and recipes as you sample your cuisine. Spend the afternoon exploring Axos Village and then enjoy the rest of the day at leisure with dinner on the property.

Day3

Explore Heraklion And Knossos

After a wellness activity and breakfast at your hotel, spend the rest of the morning at leisure enjoying the pool and nature that surrounds you. Later in the afternoon, we depart to visit the 3,500-year-old Minoan palace of Knossos, a sprawling maze of royal chambers, grand staircases, storerooms, and workshops. This evocative Bronze Age site is believed to be Europe’s oldest city. A professional English-speaking guide will escort you on this visit as you step back in time.

From here, you'll head toward Heraklion's center where you are given a tour of the city with leisure time to follow. After dinner on your own, we’ll return to the hotel for the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day4

Catamaran Cruise

Start your day off with a morning Grounding Yoga and Meditation class with Loredana and leisurely breakfast. Later, transfer to the small fishing village of Bali where you can take in the beautiful beaches and coastline of Crete. Later in the afternoon, board a 3-hour catamaran cruise to take in a fresh perspective of the island. The beautiful coastline and majestic shades of blue waters will leave you awestruck as you take in the cool ocean breeze. Enjoy drinks, snacks, and fruits on the boat in addition to snorkeling equipment.Enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure with your farewell dinner on the property filled with great local cuisine and live entertainment.

Santos Winery

Early in the morning, you'll head to the port to catch a ferry to Santorini, one of the most iconic islands in the Mediterranean. Upon arrival and free time for lunch, we’ll transfer you to the Santos Winery for a wine-tasting tour. After learning about the volcanic wine production, enjoy a tasting as you soak up a panoramic view of Santorini. Check in at the hotel and the remainder of the evening is at leisure.

Hiking From Imerovigli To Oia

After breakfast and a morning wellness activity, the morning is yours at leisure to explore or enjoy the hotel amenities. Each room offers a relaxing intimate private plunge pool or hot tub and the town of Imerovigli is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

Later in the afternoon, you'll start a hike around the rim of the famous caldera to picturesque Oia, passing white stone houses and stunning views along the way. Linger on Oia's artsy streets until evening for the best sunset views on the island where you can enjoy dinner on your own. Transportation is provided from Oia back to the hotel at night where you enjoy the rest of your evening at leisure.

Free Day In Santorini

Today, you'll enjoy a morning at leisure after your wellness activity to relax and explore the town of Fira, Imerovigli or Oia. There are several shops and restaurants close by, or you can enjoy the amenities on property which include a pool, gym, and spa.

Later this evening, join the group for your farewell dinner at a local restaurant to toast the ending of your wellness retreat!
